Parish Ministries & Groups

There are a number of ways you can get involved at our parish, meet other parishioners and share your talents, both within the parish and in our community outreach efforts.

St. Teresa’s Circle

Our mission is to foster a spirit of faith, service, and fellowship among people of the St Teresa of Calcutta Parish.  We are committed to living out the teachings of Christ by supporting one another in prayer, action, and community service.  Through our shared commitment to the Church, we aim to deepen our spiritual lives, serve the needs of others, and strengthen the bonds of love within our parish family.

Knights of Columbus

St. Ambrose Knights of Columbus Council 12576 meets monthly. The Council was started in December 1999 and meets the needs of the parish and the local Milan area community. The Knights hold fundraisers to benefit projects such as St. Jude’s, Pro-Life activities, Milan Santa, Coats for Kids, literacy, and muscular dystrophy. They also help support local Catholic education with scholarships to Jordan and Alleman and support seminarians in the Peoria Diocese.

The Council meets in the Parish Center on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. All actively practicing Catholic gentlemen are welcome to join their ranks. You can visit their website at www.kofc12576.org
